Limits

What the WhatsApp tools won't do

Set by the platform's own API rules, or left out of Zernio on purpose.

Business numbers only

Zernio works through the Cloud API, so it can't read or send from a personal WhatsApp account or its old chats.

The 24-hour window

Free-form replies only go out within 24 hours of the customer's last message. After that the agent has to send an approved template.

About 10 a minute per person

WhatsApp rejects bursts to a single recipient with error 131056. Sends to different people are not affected.

Groups need a Cloud API number

The group chat tools don't work on numbers that also run the WhatsApp Business app (Coexistence).

Connect the number once

Numbers join through Meta's Embedded Signup in the Zernio dashboard. From then on the agent works with them directly.

Meta reviews templates

A new template can't be sent until Meta approves it, which the agent can check but not speed up.
