Zernio now publishes to TikTok through TikTok's Business API, which ends the quota errors some accounts were hitting and adds TikTok comments and DMs to the inbox. This week also brought an Ad Library API for Meta and LinkedIn, more ads features, Meta's WhatsApp AI agent, and pre-orders for out-of-stock phone numbers.
Here's what shipped.
TikTok Business API: no more quota errors
New TikTok connections now go through TikTok's Business API. Accounts on our older TikTok app shared one app-wide daily limit, and when that limit ran out, posts failed with quota errors.
Most accounts post fine and don't need to do anything. If an account you connected before September 10 still shows quota errors when posting, reconnect it and it moves to the Business API. It stays the same account, with its inbox, analytics and scheduled posts.
TikTok comments and DMs
You can now reply to, hide, like, pin and delete TikTok comments, and answer TikTok DMs, from your Zernio inbox or through the API.
Comments and DMs only work for accounts on the Business API, so an account connected before September 10 needs to be reconnected first.
TikTok sets a few rules for DMs. They work for TikTok Business accounts registered outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. You can only reply to people who message you first, with up to 10 messages within 48 hours of their last message.

Ad Library API
You can now search Meta's and LinkedIn's public ad libraries through GET /v1/ads/library, by keyword or advertiser. For Meta, that covers commercial ads shown in the EU or UK, plus political and social-issue ads worldwide. Meta searches don't need a connected Meta account; LinkedIn searches use your connected LinkedIn account.
Searches are free. To prevent abuse, the endpoint is available to accounts with a card on file.

Meta's WhatsApp AI agent
You can now set up Meta's own AI agent on eligible WhatsApp numbers through Zernio, and give it your business info, FAQs, websites and files to answer from.
The agent answers your customers while your app follows the conversation. Your team can step in with a human reply at any point and hand the chat back to the agent afterwards.
Before it goes live, the business needs to accept Meta's terms in WhatsApp Manager and finish Meta's billing setup.

Phone number pre-orders
In countries that require ID verification, you can now pre-order a number that's out of stock by submitting the usual verification form. It's filled from returning stock or sourced by the carrier, usually within 2 to 4 weeks. You aren't billed until the number is active, and releasing it before then cancels the pre-order at no charge.
Pre-orders also open 11 countries where no number could be bought before, including China, Malaysia and Peru, plus mobile numbers in Austria, Brazil, Finland, Ireland and Mexico.
In countries with instant activation, you can also pick the exact number you want by passing phoneNumber to POST /v1/phone-numbers/purchase.

WhatsApp prices change October 1
From October 1, 2026, Meta will start charging for service messages and utility template messages sent inside the 24-hour customer service window.
