One integration
Four Bird products, or one Zernio account
On Bird, each channel is its own product. Email carries a monthly plan. SMS, WhatsApp and voice each bill per use at their own rate. Zernio is one account. Buy a number for $3 a month and it carries WhatsApp, SMS and voice calls on that single number. The same API key also reaches Slack, Telegram, Discord and 12 social channels. Replies from all of them land in the same inbox.
Search numbers
See what's in stock before you sign up
Search live numbers in 55 countries by country, area code or digits, from $3 a month. Pick one and you land in the dashboard to confirm the purchase. Agents can call GET /v1/phone-numbers/available without a key and get a claimUrl for each number.

- ✓Want social channels and a shared inbox in the same account
- ✓Would rather Meta billed your WABA directly, with no markup in between
Choose Bird if you:
- →Run high-volume transactional email as your primary channel
- →Need carrier coverage outside the 55 countries where Zernio sells numbers
- →Depend on RCS, mobile push, Apple Messages for Business or eSIM
- →Sell inside WhatsApp with a product catalog and checkout
Common Questions
- What does Bird (previously MessageBird) charge for WhatsApp?
- └Bird publishes one rate per message and describes it as the Bird and Meta total, so their send fee sits on top of Meta's. US marketing is $0.030 a message. On Zernio, Meta bills your WhatsApp Business Account directly and we add nothing to it.
- Can I move my WhatsApp number from Bird to Zernio?
- └Yes. Your WhatsApp Business Account belongs to you, not to your provider. You point it at us instead. Your templates come across through the import endpoint.
- Can I port my phone number?
- └Yes. You can port numbers from 9 countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, France, Netherlands, Australia, and Brazil. New numbers are for sale in 55 countries. Regulated countries need a one-time KYC of 1 to 3 business days, then repeat purchases in that country are instant.
One API key for messaging, voice and social
Free up to 2 accounts, no card. One number carries WhatsApp, SMS and calls, and the same key reaches 12 social channels.
