Auto-Schedule Posts with Queues in Late API

Discover how to auto-schedule social media posts using queues in Late's new feature. Set times and let Late handle the rest.

Overview

We’ve rolled out a snazzy new feature called QES, which lets you predefine posting times for your social media profiles. Now you can schedule your content automatically, leaving you with more time to ponder the mysteries of the universe—or, you know, write more code.

What's New

With QES, you no longer have to manually set the date and time for each post. You can create and manage queues directly from your dashboard, API, or even via CSV import. Just set up your posting slots for each profile, and Late will do the heavy lifting for you when you schedule a post. So say goodbye to the tedious date-picking dance.

When you set up your queue, you can specify multiple time slots for each day of the week. For example, if you want to post daily at 9 a.m. Madrid time, just set it and forget it. And if you need to change your schedule later, no worries! You can adjust the timing, and Late will automatically update your queued posts. It’s like having a personal assistant, minus the coffee runs.

Stop building social integrations from scratch.

One API call to publish, schedule, and manage posts across 15+ platforms.

Key Improvements

  • Automatic scheduling of posts based on predefined time slots.
  • Separate queues for each profile allow for customized scheduling.
  • CSV import feature lets you use existing queue slots for bulk uploads.
  • New API endpoints for creating and managing queues programmatically.

How to Use It

To get started, just head over to your dashboard and look for the new Setup Q button under each profile. Click it to add your desired time slots. When you create a post, select the Q option, and Late will automatically schedule it into the next available slot. Easy peasy!

And if you’re into CSV imports, just set the use Q column to true in the sample CSV file, and let Late work its magic. No more manual scheduling for all those posts!
